Working principle
The shredder usually adopts a dual-axis or multi-axis design with multiple staggered blades. The main shaft is driven by a motor and a reducer to make the blades operate in a relative rotation. Scrap aluminum recycling process:
1. Pretreatment: The collected scrap aluminum is preliminarily sorted, cleaned and cut to remove impurities such as explosives, iron parts and moisture. The purpose of this step is to facilitate subsequent crushing and separation operations.
2. Crushing: The pretreated scrap aluminum is sent to the scrap aluminum shredder for crushing. The crushed scrap aluminum particles are of moderate size, which is convenient for subsequent separation and purification operations.
3. Magnetic separation: The crushed scrap aluminum is separated from iron impurities by a magnetic separator. The magnetic separator can effectively remove iron substances such as iron nails and iron wires in scrap aluminum, and improve the purity of recycled aluminum products.
4. Eddy current separation: The scrap aluminum after magnetic separation is separated into non-ferrous metals and non-metallic substances by an eddy current separator. The eddy current separator can accurately separate non-metallic substances such as plastics and rubber from scrap aluminum, further improving the purity of recycled aluminum products.
5. Refining and alloy blending: For aluminum alloy products that need to produce specific grades, the recycled scrap aluminum also needs to be refined and alloy blended. The purpose of this step is to remove impurities and gases in the scrap aluminum, and add alloy elements as needed to meet production requirements.
