Aluminium Shredder Recycling Machine Aluminium Recycling Machine
A scrap aluminum shredder is a machine specifically designed for processing scrap aluminum. Its core function is to mechanically break scrap aluminum of various shapes (such as blocks, strips, and flakes) and sizes into smaller, uniform particles or blocks, thereby improving the efficiency and quality of subsequent scrap aluminum recycling, smelting, and reprocessing. It is a key piece of equipment in the scrap aluminum recycling process.
Working Principle
1. Power Transmission: Power is provided by a motor, which, through a transmission system consisting of pulleys, speed reducers, and couplings, transmits this power to the machine's main shaft, enabling it to rotate steadily at a set speed and direction.
2. Material Input: A feed system (such as a hopper or conveyor) feeds scrap aluminum uniformly and continuously into the shredder's shredding chamber.
3. Shredding Process: Within the shredding chamber, sharp blades (such as high-hardness alloy blades) are mounted on the main shaft, arranged in a specific pattern. Once the scrap aluminum enters the chamber, the high-speed rotating blades exert shearing, squeezing, and tearing forces on the scrap aluminum. Some equipment utilizes a dual- or quad-shaft design, with blades on each shaft working together to enhance the crushing effect and gradually break the scrap aluminum into smaller pieces.
4. Discharge: The crushed scrap aluminum is discharged through the discharge port. The size of the crushed scrap can be controlled by adjusting parameters such as blade spacing and spindle speed to meet subsequent processing requirements.
Applicable Materials
1. Metals: Scrap steel, aluminum alloy, copper, stainless steel, and other metal products, such as used car hulls, metal shelves, and metal pipes. Shredders facilitate metal recovery and remelting.
2. Plastics: Various plastic products, such as plastic film, plastic pipes, plastic containers, and plastic pallets. Shredded plastics can be further processed into recycled plastic pellets for use in the manufacture of new plastic products.
3. Rubber: Rubber products such as used tires, rubber hoses, and rubber mats. Shredded rubber can be used to produce recycled rubber, rubber floor tiles, and other products.
4. Wood: Scrap wood, wooden pallets, wooden furniture, and tree branches. After processing in a shredder, wood can be used in industries such as biomass power generation, wood-based panels, and papermaking.
5. Paper: Waste paper, cardboard, and cartons. Shredded paper facilitates subsequent recycling in papermaking.
6. Fiber: Fiber products such as used clothing, carpets, and non-woven fabrics. These waste materials can be shredded and reprocessed into fiber products or other products.
Advantages
1. Efficient Crushing: It can quickly process large quantities of scrap aluminum, significantly improving scrap processing efficiency and meeting large-scale recycling needs. For example, it can process several tons of scrap aluminum per hour.
2. Uniform Crushing: It can crush scrap aluminum into uniformly sized particles or lumps, facilitating subsequent smelting, sorting, and other processes, thereby increasing the recycling rate.
3. High Adaptability: It can process a variety of scrap aluminum types, such as used aluminum alloy doors and windows, cans, and aluminum automotive parts, and can accommodate scrap of varying shapes and sizes.
4. Good Stability: The equipment's rational structural design, high-quality materials, and advanced manufacturing processes ensure long-term stable and reliable operation, minimizing malfunctions. 5. Environmental Protection and Energy Saving: Equipped with a dust removal device, the system effectively reduces dust pollution during the crushing process. Furthermore, the system optimizes the power system and reduces energy consumption, meeting environmental protection and energy conservation requirements.

Scrap Metal Shredding and Sorting Line
The scrap aluminum shredding and recycling line is an automated production line for efficient scrap aluminum processing. The process follows: Scrap aluminum (such as cans, aluminum alloy doors and windows, etc.) is conveyed via a conveyor into a pre-treatment system, where magnetic separation removes iron impurities. The shredder then shreds the bulky aluminum into uniform pieces. The shredded material then passes through an eddy current separator to separate non-ferrous metals, and a magnetic separator for secondary iron removal. Finally, air separation or screening removes non-metallic impurities such as plastic and rubber, resulting in pure scrap aluminum pellets. This line is highly automated, equipped with a dust removal system that meets environmental standards, boasts high shredding efficiency, and a metal recovery rate exceeding 95%. It is widely used in scrap aluminum recycling stations, aluminum product factories, and secondary aluminum smelting operations.
